Abstract
Pursuing an MBA
The purpose of this paper is to support an argument on my decision to pursue an MBA degree to further my career, start a new career, or achieve a personal goal. I also included the results from a self-assessment called “What’s My Jungian 16-Type Personality” that provides an overall evaluation of my personality in the workforce. In this paper you will find statistics proving one way or another that there are people who are successful in the business world with or without an MBA. Personally, I want the credentials of earning an MBA to make myself more marketable as a successful business woman.
Pursuing an MBA
After receiving a Bachelors of Science degree, I have been employed 13 years as a Software Developer and Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) in the telecommunications and healthcare industry using both manual and automation tools on a client-server platform. I have worked to increase my expertise in the testing methodologies of a Quality Assurance Engineer role with excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle at the Capability Maturity Model for Software Level 3. However, after working very hard, but not being where I felt I needed to be, I decided to venture into the network marketing experience.
I started my own telecommunication business as a consultant for a huge multi-level marketing telecommunications company. After successfully earning major accomplishments, rewards, and promotions, I developed a passion for helping others achieve more.
