Dear Editor,
In the Bible I have located 2 scriptures that involved Mary in a similar event Mathew 1: 18-25 “Birth Of Jesus The Messiah” and Luke 1: 22-36 “Birth of Jesus Foretold”.
In the passages, Mary was visited by the angel Gabrielle and conceived Jesus by the holy spirit where she had accepted her fate to be Mother Of God. And also has the story of Joseph having the idea of divorcing her in silence to not disgrace her till an angel came into Joseph’s dream and explained what was happening to him and took Mary as his wife.
In these Scriptures Mary was portrayed as an understanding and loyal woman. Mary understood what Joseph was going through and was a loyal servant to God. She was Committed to the Christian faith and never abandoned Jesus in anytime of his life. Mostly Mary had deep faith in God that she conceived Jesus and accepted her fate.
The understanding I have gained from the passages of Mary’s roles as a disciple of Christ is that Mary accepted God’s request with great faith and thought nothing of the consequences.
In my opinion Mary is a great role model to young Christian women today because it shows we all can have a great belief in God and never give up on the things we love. We should be under standing when there are things that do not happen the way we want, loyal to other whom we trust, and be committed to our Christian faith. Christian faith made a hug impact on the world today. Maybe you can?
Sincerely
Valentine...
