Your company has selected me to be a part the team of researchers to study job satisfaction with the company. We have compiled data from all 29 employees. This data includes gender, age, department, position, and tenure with company, overall satisfaction, intrinsic, extrinsic, and benefits. All of this data can be used in the hiring practices for more satisfied employees. When you base something on a probability you are taking a risk.

Probability is used almost every day at a business. They can use it to estimate the financial and decision-making risks involved with the company. Every choice that a company makes carries some sort of probability. When developing projects or creating a budget most will go with the higher probabilities in order to obtain success.

31 percent of the employees are male and 69 percent are female. Of those male employees 22 percent have been with the company less than 2 years, 56 percent have been there between 2 and 5 years, and 22 percent have been there more than 5 years. Out of the female employees 35 percent have been with the company less than 2 years, 50 percent have been there between 2 and 5 years, and 15 percent have been there more than 5 years. Out of the three departments within the company 24 percent are in human resources, 21 percent are in information technology, and 55 percent are in administration. The sample mean overall satisfaction for the male employees is 5.0 and females are 4.95 on a scale from 1 to 7.
