The philosophy of promoting organic wear is to make it popular rather than just try to increase sales, and cover the cost of developing the range. Once the product is popular, it will lead to the increased sales itself. The most important thing is to identify and conquer the hurdles and blunders likely to happen, which in this case would be to introduce high prices.( Setting higher margins would be a blunder, but not too lower.).

The promotion of our organic wear would be done through several channels.

First and foremost would be through posters on the walls and doors, (Informative advertising) informing the customers about the successful launch of the organic baby wear. The inside store marketing will directly influence the established customer base.

Secondly, we will offer the customers of other sections such as ladies perfume and cosmetic sections, money off coupons, on purchases of other items, redeemable only on organic wear. It will encourage the sale of organic wear rather than the normal baby wear range.

Thirdly, one of the most cute and eye catching method can be to arrange some babies sitting and wearing that organic baby wear, to make it something memorable and eye catching.

These were some of the in store marketing methods that can be utilised to promote amongst the already established customer base.

However there are other options, which might be relatively expensive, but will serve as a long term marketing investment for the whole store.
