One of the most innovating companies of our time is Boeing. Boeing headquarters is located right here in Chicago which is one the things that attracted me to this company. There are about 160,000 employees across the United States and in 70 countries. Boeing has one of the most diverse and talented companies that thrive through their innovative workforce. Of the 160,000 employees working for Boeing, more than 83,000 hold college degrees, 29000 are holding advanced college degrees in almost every business and technical field, these facts alone says so much about the quality of the staff that Boeing recruits.
Boeing is one the world’s largest manufacturers of commercial jet liners and military air craft. Boeing designs and manufactures rotorcrafts, electronic and defense systems, missiles, satellites, launch vehicles, advanced information and communication systems. Boeing is also a major service provider to NASA, through the space shuttle and international space station. The most familiar asset to the company is the military and commercial airline support services they provide. Boeing has customers in more than 90 countries around the world and is one of the largest U.S. exporters in terms of sales.
Boeing has shown its ability to innovate over again, with its long tradition of aerospace leadership it continues to expand their product line and services to meet customer needs. Through innovation Boeing has created new and more efficient airplanes; they’ve integrated military platforms, and created advance technology solutions to benefit businesses.
