Business Research on Effects of Critical Care Nurse’ and Patient’s Safety
Research can be thought of as the process of finding solutions to a problem after a thorough study has been completed. When doing research, researchers must first be able to identify where the problem lies. Once the problem is identified, an effective method must be put in place to help generate alternatives for effective decision making. This effective method involves gathering information, analyzing data and determining which factors can resolve the problem. The current business research article that was chosen is entitled “Effects of Critical Care Nurses’ Work Hours on Vigilance and Patient’s Safety.” This article is from the American Journal of Critical Care and is a peer reviewed creditable source from the University of Phoenix Library. This paper is intended to define the business research and its purpose, explain the business problem under investigation, describe the date collection method used in the research project, and identify what the researchers concluded as a result of that research.

Individuals across the world are seen in hospitals daily. Millions are admitted into critical care units each year. These patients who are admitted for critical care are seriously ill, and must depend on the healthcare professional to nurse them back to health.
