1.1 Origin of the Report
Our respected faculty Mr. Ali Salman asked me to do a report on Synovus. After a brain storming session I decided to do SWOT analysis and cover all the corporate level strategy of Synovus.
1.2 Background of the Report
Bangladesh economy is growing rapidly. All the organizations are taking loans from banks and expand their business portfolio. For this reason, the banks corporate lending process and lending risk analysis has become an important issue. Bangladesh bank has some rules and regulations for the lending procedure. On top of that, each bank has their individual written policy. We did survey on Dhaka Bank Limited and try to focus on their Corporate Lending Procedure and Lending Risk Analysis in this report.
1.3 Scope of the Report
The study would focus the overall Corporate Lending Procedure and Lending Risk Analysis of Dhaka Bank. It would cover services provided under corporate banking, classification of credits on the basis of time, objective and qualitative judgment, credit policy, Principalss, approval authority, and evaluation Principalss, steps in lending process, credit administration, lending risk analysis and non-compliances of Dhaka Bank Limited to Bangladesh Bank guideline.
1.4 Methodology of the Report

? Sources of information: Both primary and secondary information sources were used to complete this study.
o Primary sources: We took interview from the personnel of Dhaka Bank Limited.
• Information collection instrument: Structured questionnaire for the interview.
o Secondary sources: Secondary information was collected from those company’s web sites and some other Internet based research.
