Cadbury Beverages, Inc. is the division of Cadbury Schweppes global soft drink marketer with $14.6 billion and produce in 110 countries and its located in London. Cadbury headquarter are located in Stamford, Connecticut.
Cadbury Schweppes is one of the world’s large multi national firm and ranked 457th in the Business week’s global 1000. Beverages accounted 60% of company sales and 53% of operating income while confectionery items accounted for 40% of worldwide sales and 47% of operating income.

Soft drinks:
Cadbury Schweppes is the world’s third largest marketer and it achieved this by consistent marketing investment in Schweppes brand name and extensions to different beverage product such as tonic, club soda and others.
In 1989 the company acquired all crush brand worldwide trademarks from Procter & Gamble for $220 million.
Cadbury Schweppes was the 4th largest soft drink marketer in U.S. with market share of 3.4%. Company was leader n some of its brands such as Canada Dry. Sales of Sunkist and Crush brand orange drinks lead the orange flavored carbonated drink category. The acquisition of crush meant that Canada dry will account for 38% of Cadbury beverage soft drinks sales in U.S., Sunkist, crush, and Schweppes will account for 22%, 20% and 17% respectively and the remaining 2% come from other soft drink brands.

Americans consumption was 46.7 gallons of carbonated soft drinks in 1989 or twice 23 gallons consumed in 1969, population growth produced is an estimated $43 billion in retail sales in 1986.
