‘Oxford Dictionary defines the word Conference as a meeting or gathering for discussion’ (Appleby, 2005). ‘Conference is a generic term to describe a diverse mix of communication events’ (Hogers, 2008). It is also bringing people together to exchange thoughts, ideas, discussion to build bond between concerns and the place to give conclusion or to make major decision. The conference industry is vibrant and young industry which is growing at a rapid pace. It was first started in the middle of 20th century and got a proper shape; it had many different names like seminar, meeting, congress, symposium, assembly, convention, training, etc. and then they were commonly called Conference at the late 1960’s. The conference has its origins from North America and European Unions. Now a day, it has become truly an international industry with huge deposits flowing from all over the globe which is mainly due to the developments in communication technology, mode of transportation, and networks technology in recent decades which have initiated standard flow of people, supplies, and information across the globe. This trend has shaped the all powerful influence of globalization. Conference brings business tourists to the country and has become one of the major parts of business tourism (Hogers, 2008). For Example, United Kingdom makes £15 billion every year in tourism, out of which £4 billion is made by business tourism visits most conceivably for conferences, trade fairs, exhibition, and inception.
