Crocs

Crocs, Inc. is a fast-growing, international company that designs, manufactures, and markets a variety of footwear for men, women, and children.  Headquartered in Niwot, Colorado, Crocs uses a closed-cell resin material called Croslite to manufacture its footwear and other accessories.  Crocs manufactures a variety of models tailored to specific target groups.  The Cayman model is especially popular with children, as the special closed-cell resin material provides for a lightweight, non-slip, and anti-bacterial shoe.  Crocs also manufactures a variety of shoes directed towards its female market, such as the Mary Jane, which is a twist on the classic women’s shoe, or the Prima, which is a ballet-inspired flat.  Both these designs serve as a more fashionable option for women who seek comfort as well as style.  For the men, popular models include the Cayman and the Beach, both of which provide for practical functionality as well as comfort.  Crocs also has a sports line, where consumers can personalize their shoe with their favorite sports team.  In 2006, Crocs launched its CrocsRx line, which produces shoes designed to relieve certain medical conditions, such as general podiatry and diabetics.  The CrocsRx line includes three models—Relief, Cloud, and Silver Cloud—which all feature a soft foot bed that provides cushioning for sore or painful feet while also promoting better circulation within your feet.  Cloud and Silver Cloud differ in the fact that Silver Cloud has the added benefits of silver.  The silver particles embedded in Silver Cloud create an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal environment for the foot, which is ideal for anyone who is prone to skin infections.  Also in the CrocsRx line are Orthocloud socks, ...
