Effective Teams

In the simulation Creating and Managing Effective Teams Luxurion Auto is trying to break into luxury auto manufacturing. Because Luxurion Auto will be competing in luxury auto manufacturing with BMW, Mercedes and Lexus they want a top-notch team to do research on what is wanted in a luxury auto. Luxurion Auto will use this information to design a luxury car.
 I chose the Cross Functional Task Force because it a team that is made up current employees from different departments that work together as a team for a common good and the team could be easily dissolved after the goal is met.
I chose John Marsh for the Assessor & Advisors position because he has 15 years experience in automotive manufacturing and development as a manager.
He is the head of Luxurion Auto’s Production Development department.
Amrita Choudhury as the Creator because of her reputation for her designs in Europe and Asia. Amrita is an Automotive Production Interior/Exterior Designer at Luxurion Auto.
The Controller + Organizer is Marcell Collins. He has excellent project management skills, which is the position he holds at Luxurion Auto. Janice Luikens is the Promotor + Maintainer because she gets what she wants. Janice works in Luxurion Auto’s PR department. I chose Petra Diodorus for the Linker + Producer slot. I believe her experience in the classroom will aid her in this position.
     There was a problem between Amrita and John that was beginning to affect the whole team. It seem years ago when they both worked for an industrial organization something happened. From the rude comments that are openly exchanged between the two they still don’t get along.
