Introduction
In a day of time like today there are many aspects of what ethics are. Ethics are in some people’s opinion not even around these days. Others believe that ethics are the same and that many people have ethics. Then there are others growing up in this day of age that has no clue what “true” ethics are. They don’t know where to look for what’s right and what ethics they would like to live by. In the next few paragraphs we will talk about the importance of character, obligation, results, and relativism, etc. With the description of these we hope that this offers for an open eye of what “true” ethics could be.
Personal ethical perspective
When I personally look through my own life and what I see as high ethics is the value of a person and to know that I am valued as a person. I was raised on high moral standards in which my parents always said to me, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. Learning that that motto in life took me down a few different paths, before I came to realize how true that motto was. I began to realize the importance of respecting others and treating them as you I would want to be treated. I began to love people for who they are and value them in what they are. Knowing that not all people are created the same and that each person as their on path and destiny to fulfill.
Perspective of Character
When reviewing many different aspects and perspectives of ethical awareness I am always drawn to the character of a person and of an organization.
