Problem Solution: Global Communications

      Global Communications is a telecommunications company that is struggling to maintain a competitive edge in the telecommunications industry. The company’s profitability has been affected by an ever increasing market of providers. Global Communications is studying ways to increase profit while implementing cost-cutting measures. Global Communications feels the pressures of the industries, trying to keep up with its competitors, and watching its stock prices fall. The stockholders are giving Global Communications a great deal of pressure to correct the problem. Global Communications need to offer better services than what their competitors are providing to its customers. While it would appear that Global Communications is on the right track by providing expanded services and by reducing costs by outsourcing its call centers, there are major flaws in Global Communication’s approach to solve its current situation. There is a severe lack of research that had not been conducted by management. Global Communications also has serious communication issues, which will ultimately compromise its ability to move forward effectively. This problem solution research paper will look at the issues and opportunities facing Global Communications, major stakeholders will be identified, the problem statement and end-state vision will be clarified, and alternative solutions will be selected and analyzed for maximal outcome.
