     In this paper I will be discussing as well as explaining and identifying some of the Major Differences and Incompatibilities between the United States and the Czech cultures, identifying some of the Comparative Advantages and Trade Barriers.  I will be applying the four primary dimensions to the Czech business environment and also explain how the Demand and Cost Structure could be assessed when starting a new business overseas in another country.

     The Differences and Incompatibilities that was found between the Czech Republic was that they believe in the shaking hands and it has to be firm when being introduce as well as when departing also, address each other by their first name once the consent is mutual, the raising of the hand in order to get their attention.  Unlike other countries the Czech are well informed with politics, religion and other complicated issues.  “During their business endeavors, expect a lengthy decision-making process and they also uses the German methodical and painstaking care with all business planning (University of Phoenix, 2008).”  According to CultureGram (2008), in general attitude the Americans tend to be frank and outspoken. They tend to voice their opinions and share their views or a variety of subjects.  Americans tend to value innovations, industry, and integrity.  They do enjoy a sense of humor.  Czech is individualistic that they tend to be stubborn in stating their opinions or wishes.  Czech value education, cleverness, social standing, modesty, and humor.
