                                                            Abstract

    I will read the case study about Julie on page 167 of my textbook. Based on the issues
 described in this case, I will propose new hiring practices for the company to follow. In my
 proposal, I will be sure to address the legal and ethical issues involved in discrimination and
affirmative action policies.     

   

   I propose these new practices for the company to follow.  They go as follows:

•    Referrals

           Candidates may be referred no matter of racial or ethnic minority group and background          as long as they are qualified with the stringent guidelines and requirements as well as the talent for the job.
