Holiday Inn
    Holyday Inn is a known chain of hotel all around the world.  The image of Holiday Inn needs to be changed since it is known to be a mid marketing roadside property with a restaurant.  They need a new and fast positioning in the market because the competitors have been improving.  But Holyday Inn has been upgrading which means they have been renovating which always comes handy.  Also the mix of sub brands have left the costumers dazzled.  And travellers have no idea if Holyday Inn is upscale, mid-market, or budget.  They need to find the right mix and introduce the right audience or customer to what they can offer.  
    In my opinion Holyday Inn should operating in both segments in this case.  The reason for that is that if one is left out a huge population of customers would be left out.  These two segments should be rather included but separated meaning they should have the recreational and entertainment activities and also children’s activities for the family vacation segment and also the social and healthy lifestyle for the business travellers.
    The priority of Holyday Inn should be the budgeting which is going to be very hard.  But if they pull through because they can’t only focus on one side and it has to be both sides so they would be able to be productive and effective.  I mean they would have to build facilities for both target markets the business target market would have to get their conference room also the recreational centres.  And also the family segment should get their family entertainment, daycares for children if parents wanted to have a night out, family entertainment.   Also a great restaurant which would s ...
