Human Resiurce Management

Findings:

In relation to HRM Assignment our group was assigned the human resource section of Liaquat National Hospital. It was indeed a unique and good learning experience for us and we tried to apply theory what we have learned in the HRM course into practice.We designed a detailed questionnaire & conducted various interviews with their concern human resource officials. The important ones are,
   1. Dr.Ali Azmat abadi     Director Administration LNH
   2. Manzoor Ahmad          Senior Manager HR LNH
   3. Faraz Malik                 Assistant  Manager HR LNH

   Our main findings are as such,
   The Liaqat National Hospital is having a full fledged Human Resource Department with a qualified staff headed by Senior Manager. The structure of the department is divisional with the following divisions
   a. Resourcing (Recruitment ) division
   b.  Performance Management division
   c. Compensation management & training division
   The total number of employees in the hospital are almost 2900 with 23 employees are working in human resource department .Almost all the staff is regular & full time with male/female ratio of 60/40 % and medical portion constitutes the major section of the staff. The ratio of absenteeism is very less & only noticed in the junior staff. The planning for human resource is done through Manning requirement analysis & patient turn over which are mainly recruited through advertisement in the news papers & notice boards.
