sdfgsdEleanor Roosevelt is a woman who should be admired my all Americans, especially women.  She was a woman who had many misfortunes in her life, such as loosing her father and mother at a very young age.  She was not a very confident teenager either until she went to school at Allenswood in England.  There, not only did she feel more keener and alive, she also found a companion, Marie Souvestre.

"Eleanor?s adult life was equally marked by personal difficulties. By many accounts, her husband Franklin D Roosevelt was not an ideal husband, and was often absent. Eleanor remained devoted to Franklin despite his betrayal of their marriage vows. Eleanor and Frank?s third child died of influenza soon after birth. In addition, Eleanor was thrust into the highly public and stressful life of the First Lady after her husband was elected as President of the United States in 1932."
This book is about a woman who forever changed the course of women’s role in American history. Eleasnor Roosevelt was an extremely importanat figure in the history of the united states, especially during the twentieth century.  The way the author uses the book to help the reader to feel included in Eleanor’s life, makes the reader feel as if he knows mrs. Roosevelt.
