Executive Summary

As a newly appointed CEO of Smart-Drinks, Sue Lea Shu (Sue) is facing the great challenge by turning the conservative organization culture to innovative and creative oriented organization culture, before Sue make any changes to the organization, the very first step is define the company new vision and mission to all the employees.

With the understanding of new mission and vision, employees tend to prepared to accept change, this will follow 9 steps of procedures that Sue can implement to promote and foster innovation in the organization, the procedures include accept failure by risk-taking, good business and product strategies, dedicated multi-functional teams effort, develop a structured, well-defined and understandable business process, provide compensation incentives as rewards, reinforces top management commitment to subordinate, develop complete documentation for product process, develop a portfolio of new product type and identify innovation values.

All this procedure tends to be employees oriented which will help to minimize the resistant to change among the employees. Beside, there are four important requirements that CEO need to achieve and promote innovation in the organization.
 
By conducting the SWOT analysis will help Sue to understand the company existing strength, weakness, opportunities and threads, thus a proper adjustment will make according to the details that provide.
