Interpersonal Effectiveness

Many people of Europe think, the culture is very similar. That is a prejudice. Italy has very different mentality as in France or Germany. The culture in Denmark is completely different as in England or Ireland. The biggest influence I had with 18 years when I moved to Paris in France. There are many nationalities ethnocentrism on rather less space. The different religions shape the city. Everyone who do not like this city as good friend, there have big difficulties. He lives alone, isolated from the outside world. Your own mentality, intercultural communication and cultural tolerance are just as important as the respect from the language and the people. You have to learn French, otherwise you will not accept of the people. For example, the seller turned around when I wanted to buy a baguette and pronounce no good "une baguette sil vous plais". That was maybe1990 now has changed a lot. What I learned when I respect and tolerate others, people will see myself with other eyes. Of course I can not deny my home. I tend to have very often, things like punctuality, order, control or proper care as perfectly normal. So I was brought up and lived in nurturing culture. On the other hand, it looks in many countries from South America or Eastern Europe as a very stiff and boring. Perhaps they are seeing it as a weakness but I believe the characteristic in my individualistic culture are strong points. Even here in America, I can see those things. In a country like America with 300 million inhabitants must also think bigger. In this learning process can be virtues such as flexibility and creativity very well adopt. This means to learn from the culture of the people and the environment.
This gives a comprehensive view and it is evolving a new form of life....
