This assignment has been prepared to incorporate the analysis of organizational change within a company. One will be able to identify non-technological catalyst for change and what to do when a leader has resisted change and it starts to affect their employees, which in the end, will affect the entire goal and vision of the company. Different models and theories of changes have been identified, as well as critical factors of organizational changes have been implemented.
Situation Analysis
Issue and Opportunity Identification
The issue begins with the company need for an organizational change within 12 months to increase their sales by 16% while reducing call handling time by 5%. In order for this to be productive, the company will also need to reduce their turnover by 20% while avoiding lost of sales due to hiring and training cost. Some models of change includes both external and internal changes that needs to be made to the company. Many of the leaders within the company has been with the company for more than 15 years. Majority of them have the experience needed to complete their goal, however, there is one, Lyn to Chen, VP of sales who is reluctant to change, which have affected the productivity of the organization.
