Benchmarking is an important strategy used to find problem resolutions attempted by other companies. Learning-Team B is conducting benchmarking involving 10 companies, to help determine effective solutions in maximizing shareholder wealth. Leveraging research that can be referenced in the synopsis for each company, the project will include an analysis of five key areas: (a) Evaluate internal and external growth strategies, (b) Describe working capital management strategies to maximize shareholder wealth (c) Describe the challenges of cross-border growth strategies (d) Assess organizational performance using financial statement and ratio analysis, and (e) Describe the role of portfolio management in the allocation of corporate resources.
Benchmarking Results
The individual concept analysis is based on the benchmarking outcome of two different companies, with the synopsis included at the end of this paper for reference.
