Abercrombie and Fitch unfair and unethical hire standards, organizational behavior are by far the worst heard of for a major corporation, but Abercrombie and Fitch stay in business.  Is this how personnel of Abercrombie and Fitch and their customers want to be treated or is it an image Abercrombie and Fitch want to portray?
     Recent issues and cases that have been brought against Abercrombie and Fitch regarding racial hiring issues and the boundaries that they have chosen in promoting "sex" in their lines of clothing. The issues that are raise are Abercrombie and Fitch hiring practices and lawsuits that have been brought against the company. One would want to examine how these legal issues affected Abercrombie and Fitch’s sales and how the company uses the employees to project their brand image and how Abercrombie and Fitch projects their persona and lifestyle of their brand.
    Abercrombie and Fitch (which we will simply refer to as A & F from now on), began in 1892 when founder David Abercrombie introduced the company, where he organized the first store being in downtown Manhattan. Then in 1900 Ezra Fitch left his law firm and bought into the company with Abercrombie.  Fitch immediately began to implement a new style to the store and in 1909 the first catalog was produced and in 1910 the first line of women's clothing was introduced.  Then in 1988 the store was bought out by “The Limited” and it was from this point forward that the stores marketing focus was primarily on young adolescents from wealthy families.
