All of above mentioned factors have substantially affected the growth of the firm; however, the initial reason for this growth was the recognition of need for “management consulting”. Moreover, the firm leaders’ view played an important role in transferring to the new stages through anticipating the next 10 years market and future of their company.
B) The competitive advantage developed by James McKinsey was focus on “client relationship” which is very important for consulting sector as a service industry. The need for integration of firm resources and providing better services to clients made Bower to develop the “one firm” concept which has more to do with clients, consultants and profits. In this approach people and profits are firm-wide resources which can ensure the most efficient utilization of firm’s financial and human resources.
