Introduction

Before I start the academic MBA program and specifically the Marketing course presented by Dr. Nabil El-Hilali I had impression that sales and marketing are the same task with different names. They are mainly about promotions and advertisements.
Once Dr. Nabil El-Hilali presented the marketing decision making course (only few classes), many concepts were corrected in my mind.
I came to know that marketing is not only a science where all the concepts and theories are implemented, but also is an art of satisfying the customer needs and demands and may be more by delighting the customer as well.
The human beings are not easy to be satisfied, and if so, that satisfaction will not remain for long time since the expectations are usually set for more. Therefore maintaining the customer satisfaction is really a huge challenge.
Talent and skills are essential tools to succeed in marketing era nevertheless without getting the true scientific marketing knowledge there is no chance to survive.

Background

I’m working for Qualitynet (the leading ISP in Kuwait).
Qualitynet was found at 1998 and since then is dominating the biggest Internet market share in Kuwait. Qualitynet is not only an ISP but also is facilitating data network connectivity services across the nation and abroad the country as well through the most sophisticated and developed network not only in Kuwait but in the region.
Qualitynet set many new concepts in Kuwait since launching the service (early 1998).
 The 1st concept is the ethical edge to all families by prohibiting the porno web pages to prevent the country from that disease.
