Problem Solution: Riordan Manufacturing
Riordan manufacturing is a producer of plastic products for various industries. An analysis of the near team economic forecast leads one to believe that Riordan should be thriving and at least meeting their current sales goals. Despite implementing a CRM system in support of a new team-based sales model and providing SIX -Sigma training to support their manufacturing processes, their profits are declining and Riordan does not quite understand why.
Recognizing the symptoms if not the issues, Riordan brought in an HR consultant to review the HR landscape, identify the issues, and develop.  The last communication in the case study was an e-mail from the CEO that outlined the recommendations and requested a discussion on the options. This paper will evaluate those options and using references from the text and from peer reviewed research material develop a set of recommendations and an implementation strategy. The paper also provides a plan for monitoring the success of these initiatives and implementing mid-course corrections.
