Entrepreneur, father, husband, a person who went from being rich to being $9.2 billion in debt and back, his hair ? legendary, this is Donald Trump. He is a very successful business man who has seen all aspects of wealth and poverty. A man who has been through two divorces, three marriages, five kids, and still has multitudes of money. Trump learned from people like Max Weber, Frederick W. Taylor, and Henri Fayol in his traditional viewpoints of management. He has adapted such ideas of a hierarchical structure with some “open door” flexibility in that accountability is key (Hellriegel, Jackson, & Slocum, 2005). Trump is also a man who gets what he wants. For example, he has had three wives and once hired a security guard as his executive vice president for operations for the simple fact that he saw “something” in him (Trump and McIver, 2004).
Who knew that on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York, New York, an American business executive, entrepreneur, author, real estate developer, and one of the richest men in the world would be born (Wikipedia, 2007). Without further introduction, he is the CEO and President of The Trump Organization. The Trump’s success must run in the family because Donald is the son of Fred and Mary Trump. Fred Trump was a wealthy real estate developer in Queens and Brooklyn who Donald says he learned the essentials of real estate development from.
