Marketing and Promoting a Construction Business


    Marketing and promoting any business including a Construction business can present challenges such as trying to figure out your target market, how to gain their attention towards your products or services, and how to stay within the confines of your marketing budget.  Ways to successfully combat these challenges prior to starting your marketing campaign, would be to, first perform a careful S.W.O.T. Analysis, which stands for analyzing your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.  Your strengths may include your competitive advantage such as your reputation in the community and the track record of the product's or service you provide, you surely want to exemplify those points in your campaign in order to help brand your business.    An idea to demonstrate your strengths would be having your previous customers and or business partners give testimonials.

    Opportunities may include, finding a need for a service or product in specific area and then gearing your campaign toward it. Threats to your business may include local competing businesses, find out what their doing and do it better!   Most importantly you must know the needs and wants of your demographic or Target Market (Customer Base), you can send out survey's to customers you have serviced in the past in addition to sending out survey's to prospective candidates in order to get a better idea of their level of satisfaction and additional suggestions given in order to allow you the chance to increase and improve your level of service matching your customers needs, which of course is the most valuable to all b ...
