My Worldview

This world we live in is a complicated one. By the same air we breathe, the same water we drink, and the same food we eat, yet it keeps alive so many different types of people and beliefs. Some of the many questions that have been asked since humans began to develop logic and reason are the simple questions of who we are. Was there a reason why I was born? Where do I go from here? All these are examples of questions many ask when we lurk in the shadows from reality without a definite answer.

Does existence really exist? Who am I? Is my identity really like a whole from what it seems? To me, I think identity is a gift to prove that life does exist. It gives us a chance to show happiness, sadness and many others emotions that only life can prove to be worthwhile. The heart is an amazing thing and with it, we encounter strange feelings and may even experience feelings that produce pain but in a way we cannot physical feel it, but still, it does really hurt and a bandage would only go to waste. So who are we? Are we just a bunch of robots-like creatures born onto this Earth all from the chance of accidents and only behave from a chip that has been integrated into us from our generations and even more back, back to the "source" that created it all. To many, the "source" has been the unexposed figure we desperately seem to seek through conclusionless debates, plotless books and vivid imaginations.

Even though the "source" has been unidentified and may not even exist, more questions leads into the puzzle. Is this place that we civilize in really an actual place? It sometimes makes me wonder; is this for real? It's not what it seems. What is the meaning of life? Live, reproduce, die? That simple? In this world, nothing is as simple as that.
