Globalization has enable organizations to expand their business internationally, letting them interface challenges across different cultures.  International management brings executives into face to face contact with other executives of totally different backgrounds.  Interacting with a different culture might be a challenge and could create difficulties communicating effectively (Pugel, 2003).
    This paper wills express some recommendations about the organization expanding to the United States. Organizational structures designs are similar to those used depending on the nature and scope of the overseas businesses and the home office’s approach to controlling the operation. Ideally, an overseas affiliate or subsidiary will be designed to respond to specific concerns, such as production technology or the need for specialized personnel. The overall goal, however, is to meet the needs of both the local market and the home-office strategy of globalization (Hodgetts&Luthans, 2003).
    There are four steps that are critical in the expansion process: (1) The two groups have to establish the purpose, goal, and focus of their merger; (2) Then they have to develop mechanisms to identify the most important organizational structures and management roles; (3) They have to determine who has authority over the resources needed for getting things done; and (4) They have to identify the expectations of all involved parties and facilitate communication between both departments and individuals in the structure.
