Global Communications faces a variety of issues which can ultimately be detrimental to its primary functions. One of the major problems facing global communications is competition such as those encountered in the scenario. For example; local, long distance telecommunication companies and international markets were all competing for the same business. Additionally, it was also established that outsourcing was a major concern as well. "In the wake of global economy and the concomitant increase in competition, more pressure and attention will be drawn to the issue of corporate performance. Therefore, given this situation, corporations are vigorously looking for effective methods to reduce operating costs and at the same time improve productivity. Outsourcing back-office functions has thus become a very popular tool in the market-place today for fulfilling this goal.
