ABI Project Risk Management Plan
This paper is a short scenario about a company that is involved in a project risk management plan. The company's name is The American Bank of Indiana.
This paper will identify a series of events in a project risk management plan. First of all, I will explain how management responds to adverse conditions of a project in motion. Next, I will explain the situation and how management copes with a change in management objectives in the middle of the project. Thirdly, I will explain how the risks of the scenario are weighed, and how these risks perceived. This paper will also give an explanation of how the risks can be mitigated. Next, this paper will give a history of how to measure project performance, and how to mitigate future risks, should they arise. Last of all, this paper will detail project closure for the selected company. Taking on a project, whether they are personal or professional, there should always be a plan involved. With a plan, anyone can cope with adverse conditions, and respond to them effectively.
Situation Background
The American Bank of Indiana (ABI) is a regional bank, which has its main headquarters in Indiana. ABI has been very successful with a workforce of 1,800 employees and 250 contractors that offers financial services such as industrial banking, loans, mortgages, and personal banking. ABI services 500,000 customers out of 28 branches and 80 ATM locations. This makes ABI one of the leaders among regional banks, but now has decided to expand through acquisition.
