Introduction

The challenging and constantly changing business world requires an open and alert mind of those in charge of making companies successful. Changes in today’s business environment can cause serious damage to companies if the aren’t ready to deal with it. Management is largely in charge of dealing with customers and competition from the perspective of a changing environment.
Managers are also responsible for puting in practice processes that can create products that will bring long-tern success to their companies. But there is no recipe or formula to be a forever winner. If managers want their companies to adapt to change and successfully deal with the competition and keep customers happy, they will have to look at how they get their work done.
Common processes found in practically every company are, most of the time, sources of success or failure. When bureaucracy gets mixed with long processes and many people are involved in a single process managers know that fix-ups or patches are not a permanent solution. ...
