Please submit contributions at least two weeks in advance. Events Bethel Campus Fellowship presents a week of Marvelous Encounter. Wesnesday Oct. 15th 2008: Academic Excellence Seminar 'How can I get a 4.0?' in CLT 102 from 12pm-1pm. Speakers include Dr. Mickey Burnim, Dr. George Acquaah, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and Dr. George Ude, BCF Advisor. Thursday Oct. 16th is the Flashback, Celebrate what the Lord has done for you in CLT 102 at 7pm, free refreshments. Friday Oct. 16th is the Marvelous Encounter which is a night of live music featuring Dimensions Band, drama and a word of God. This will take place in CLT 102 7pm-9pm President Mickey L. Burnim will be the keynote speaker at the Annual Lay Day event at Reid Temple AME Church in Glen Dale, Md. on October 19 during the 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. The African Student Association at Bowie State University along with numerous universities and colleges around the world will host a Congo Week with the theme “Break the Silence” from October 19-25, 2008. The week’s activities will be posted on the website calendar. Scholarships The Presidential Management Fellows Program of the U.S. Office Personnel Management seeks graduate students who are working on degrees in accounting/finance, economics, human resources, engineering, statistics, environmental sciences, health/medical science, information technology, public policy, public administration, international affairs, and law.
