KFC’ sales in US market had increased constantly throughout six years from 1994-1999 at a growth rate of 4%. It had also reached its peak of $4,378 million in 1999 (referring to Appendix xx). Furthermore, it can be found that the sale per unit in US market had also grown at a rate of 3% correspondingly reaching the highest sales volumes of $837 million in 1999 (refer to appendix). However, though there was a growth rate in both sales and sale per unit at 4% and 3 % respectively throughout years, it is observable that the growths were risen at a steadily trends. The underlying reason is because the fast food industry was saturated heavily during this period of time in both international and domestic market, leading to a high sharing of marketing share with the industry
