The organisation chosen for the questionnaire was a manager from the retail organisation of Asda. One shall analyse the questionnaire and identify the relevance between the discrete tasks taken and the actual doing of the work personally. By analyse of the questionnaire it acknowledges the fact that Mitzberg’s ten managerial roles are of importance in identifying which roles are most time consuming and in relevance the relation between the effective performance in the Job. Task one proves the Figurehead is most important role from Mitzberg’s managerial roles. Being a figurehead for the organisation gives the interpersonal roles the information that is needed to its employees. The Figurehead role is most important as it represents the organisation in all circumstances. As a manger it is essential that a figurehead is needed socially and legally to the organisation. A figurehead is a manager that is there on hand for people because the manager is a status of authority. The manager in the questionnaire main role is a figurehead. This is due to acting a legal and social head. Time consumption relates to the importance of how effective it creates the job. By analyse of the questionnaire it identifies the manager is very much a figurehead for the business. The managers main jobs are to conduct interviews, ensure the departments are ran correctly, sales are at the highest standard and being an organiser for there department in creating celebration lunches, for successful jobs taken out by staff. It is important to acknowledge that being a figurehead is important for being a manager as it enables staff to sign contracts and sign for training regulations, then the organisation cannot be taken to court if any injuries occur....
