    It is very apparent that the insecticide spray, Malathion has unknown effects if exposed to humans. There is no long term study on the specific insecticide spray; however there has been evidence that a similar case using sprays has caused illness. It would not make sense to destroy the mosquito only to have more problems occurring because the spray has affected the residents around the area. It would not be a great idea for using Malathion, and I am opposed to it. I believe the funds can be used on education about the problem with the mosquitoes and be used to contain the area instead of ultimately destroying it.
    There are many things in life that if one has too much exposure from a chemical, it will eventually harm the person. Malathion can be another example if taken overboard because the proposition of spraying the entire area with this insecticide may cause harmful effects if an unsuspecting, uneducated resident does not follow the necessary precautions. The evidence of a growing population of mosquitoes might indicate a large dosage of this particular chemical and that is not good for the health of the environment. It may kill other surrounding live species and may disrupt the ecosystem and cause other problems and can get worse than it is. The environment that surrounds it such as the water and agriculture can be negatively impact. This can cause a crisis with the food grown and the water people will drink.
