Therefore the Southwest sold the inexpensive ticket but their net income was higher than other Air companies. Compare to the Southwest and United, the Southwest’s net income was 4.8 ($B) in 2004 and the United’s was -10.5($B) in 2004. Because the Southwest’s low price of ticket can attract the customer to buy their ticket. And they had lowest operating-cost which support and control their low ticket. By the way the Southwest was well entrenched high customer satisfaction airline. Their supervisor put the Southwest’s employees first. He said “If they are happy, satisfied, dedicated, and energetic, they will take real good care of the customers.”
• They used the short haul and medium haul and point-t –point. Such as Dallas to Houston, Los Angeles to Phoenix. Because the stable schedule fight and the customers easy to know the schedule. In addition the used the short haul and medium haul which can attracted the customers whose need it.
