Stress in the Workplace!??!?! My Workplace???

    Stress happens in every workplace in some form.  Whether it is your boss chewing you out, bad relations with your co-workers, or just some snobby day-to-day customers, stress does happen.  Well when asked to write about stress in my life I didn’t know where to begin.  I used to be in the Army where I had so much stress in my life that I could go on and on about that but it would for sure run over the guideline of 3-5 pages.  My only job at the time we had the class was and still is a sales clerk at a video rental store.  I was thinking, how I am I going to find enough pages to write about to make the 3 page minimum?  Sure there are some snobby customers and some co-workers I just can’t stand, but that’s it.  Someone gives me a tag for a movie; I take it off the shelf, ring them up and say I will see them in a few days.  Where is the stress there?  So I had to get another job(

    The Monday after class I started a job right outside of the base working at Pizza Point delivering pizzas to customers on post.  I had training days on Monday and Tuesday and then that weekend I worked 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday.  Since then I have had a few more shifts to go on top of that.  So now what are the stresses that I can write about?  Well, first there is the stress of learning a new job and with that goes learning new people.  You have to learn how the people operate without getting in their way and learn what the manager expects of you and how she runs the business.  Believe me for the first 2 training days I was pretty stressed out and I didn’t ...
