All over the world there are charity programs to help the less fortunate. In Asia especially children are the ones who need the help of such institutions. Taste of Asia is a special Event for charity which takes place every year. Many Volunteers attend it to help the less fortunate, but it is also an opportunity for them to improve their Image. With various food to taste and interesting shows to watch, the Event offers something unique for the people.

Location and date
Taste of Asia takes place every year in San Diego. This Year the Event took place in the Balboa Park where the international Cottages are located. It is very easy to reach and it had enough space for the people who attended. The Event took place on a Saturday in September 27th, 2008. They could get there by public transports or by car. There are enough parking spaces which are free to use and there is an easy access from the downtown and Mission Valley areas using the Metropolitan Transit System (tasteofasiasd.com, n.d.).
To locate the Event at the international Cottages is also a very good idea for the marketing part since there is also the House of Pacific Relations (HPR) located. It says on their homepage:
“The House of Pacific Relations (HPR), located in San Diego’s Balboa Park, is a consortium of ‘houses’ representing 32 countries. The HPR promotes multicultural goodwill and understanding through educational and cultural programs. The park contains historic 1935 Exposition cottages plus 4 new cottages where HPR member countries can offer visitors a window to their culture, history and traditions.” (sdhpr.org, n.d.)
