Description of the advertisement: The ad shows two cubicle drones chatting in an office break room. One shows off his “crystal ball.” The other scoffs and calls it a snow globe. After destroying the glass front of a vending machine, he declares the crystal ball predicted free Doritos today. The other worker asks the crystal ball whether it can see a promotion in his future. After he flings it in frustration and hits an older male colleague in a place where no man would want to be hit, the first co-worker remarks he’s probably not getting that promotion now. What “worked” in the advertisement? What worked in the advertisement was there was broad humor, a character with a funny voice and moments of comic violence that included the snow globe hitting a man in the crotch. According to the article’s author, was the advertisement a success? The article’s author said this advertisement was a success. What the duo did was beat 51 big-budget advertisers and won USA TODAY'S 21st annual exclusive Super Bowl Ad Meter real-time consumer testing of how much they liked the ads as they aired. Article 3: What “worked” in the advertisement? In this commercial I like how they made it so simple. I like how the crystal ball was suppose to predict what was suppose to happen. What did not “work”? Thinking back on this ad, I think the commercial would have been better had it ended after the employees raided the vending machine. I don't really understand why the second employee decided to throw the "crystal ball" down the hallway but it was funny nonetheless. In my opinion, the article was a success because it was hilarious, something smart, original and creative.this was the best commercial of the super bowl Hilarious!Hilarious!Hilarious!...
