Tactical Contro

The tactical control is “the assessment and regulation of the day-to-day functions of the organization and its major units in the implementation of its strategy.” This involves: “Financial controls, budgets, the supervisory structure, and human resource policies and procedures.” By focusing more on tactical controls, Launch Electronics will have to put more focus on the supervisory structure and human resource policies and procedures, while still maintaining focus on financial controls and budgets. The aspect of financial controls within the tactical control process, results in an overall view of every aspect of the financial controls unit by unit. Launch electronics will implement a more defined and specific financial control process by the use of basic financial controls such as a cost benefit analysis. The budgetary controls within the tactical control process are currently implemented within Launch Electronics, but they have been formulated and distributed with large cost reduction in mind, which has resulted in employees cutting corners. Launch electronics will add an additional contingency fund to each division so that if money is needed in order to maintain quality standards it will be there. Currently the supervisory structure controls seem to be very limited and uncontrolled within Launch, they will implement a more restrictive and controlled supervisory structure where employees will have to report on each aspect of the production process, from financial to final output.
