Scene the inception of the automotive industry in the 1890’s the industry has undergone rapid and extensive changes. Economy and technological restructuring has led to new patterns of automobile production, distribution and consumption. The automotive industry has often represented wider patterns of industrial change.
The automotive industry grew to a strong conviction about the position of the industry in the American economy. This industry is regarded as an American original, an enterprise of enormous power and scale. The automotive industry is the economic center of a web of production that has touched a host of industrial products.  Imprinted on the landscape in the form of sprawling freeways and the life style in the form of the single family home and the two car garage, the industry has become the way of life.
Purpose of Study
    The purpose of this study is to fulfill the requirements of BUS 401 International Business course and the requirements of the Accelerated Business Administration program. This report will be an analysis of the American Automotive Industry as it has become the World Automotive Industry, and what impact the industry has. The automotive industry power and scale is another purpose of this study.
Limitations of Study
A limitation of this study is the abundance of information available on the automotive industry.
