Ever since Christopher Columbus set sail across the European continent to discover a new world, his talent and skills not only bring him recognition that are inscribed in the history books today, but the trading routes and colonies that he had established created the basic foundation of a business merchant. A good merchant understands the philosophy of supply and demand. Fortune 500 companies conglomerating and even small businesses today also understand this ideology, but in order to improve their efficiency and enhance their profitability they must have people who can provide great leadership.  In a modern society, the success of an organization depends upon its influential leadership and critical decision making. How can companies ever survive without knowing the direction that they are heading? In order to move away from the present and lead into the future, you would have to know where you are heading and how to get there. Although, poor leadership can have an impact in the productivity and day-to-day operation, leaders must have the ability to communicate effectively, and manage company’s goals and deadlines decisively. The more people learn, the more they become effective within their organization because exceptional leaders pass on their knowledge and insights to others.
It is essential for a successful leader to have interpersonal and communication skills. Many of today top companies require these desired skills from project leaders because building a great dynamic relationship in a team environment allow rooms for better communication and open ideas for improvement.
